NWIA Donates to Sioux City Children’s Museum
One of the best things about being a REALTOR®? Well, there are lots of things, but one of the biggest perks of the job has to be getting the chance to love and give back to the communities where we work and the places we call home.
At NWIA, we got to have some fun on Tuesday, July 5 doing that very thing, and can we just say, giving back feels so good!
Thanks to a $1000 gift from our Board of Directors, and a generous matching grant from the REALTOR® Foundation of Iowa, we were able to present a check for $2,000 to the Sioux City Children’s Museum/Launching Pad. Funds will be used to support the ongoing operations of the Museum, and enhance experiences for children and families who visit.
We’re very thankful to have the support and backing of the REALTOR® Foundation of Iowa (RFI) on our side for worthy endeavors like this one. The volunteers who serve on the RFI board work hard, and every year they make a significant amount of donations to worthy projects that enhance communities all across our state.
If you haven’t been to the Launching Pad, it’s a very fun place to visit. Plan a trip with your kids, grandkids, niece, nephew—- or heck, borrow a kid from a friend or neighbor if you have to. Just go, and you might even find yourself unleashing your inner child too. You’ll be glad you checked it out, trust us.
Participating in the presentation were Kyle Kelly, Century 21 ProLink, past NWIA president and current member of the Board of Directors at the Children’s Museum; Kelly Burge, Executive Officer NWIA; Bob Fitch, Executive Director of the Children’s Museum; Sue Raby-Struthers, Century 21 ProLink and RFI member; Kathy Miller, Coldwell Banker Premier Realty Group and RFI member; and Kevin Archer, Keller Williams Siouxland and current President of NWIA.
At NWIA, we are proud to be REALTORS®, who support and give back to the communities where we live and work!
