MLS Rule Change: Bathroom Data Entry
Effective January 6, 2025 the MLS will now ask for each bathroom type to be clearly indicated as part of listing data entry. Bathrooms will be counted as follows:
• Full Bathroom: a Bathroom that includes a Toilet, Sink and a Tub OR Tub/Shower Combination.
• 3/4 Bathroom: a Bathroom that includes a Toilet, Sink and Stand-up Shower.
• 1/2 Bathroom: a Bathroom that includes only a Toilet and a Sink
• Non-Conforming Bathroom: An area in a house including but not limited to the basement where one or more; which would include either a shower, toilet or sink may be in the open.
Agents do not need to edit current listings, however, this information will need to be entered before saving changes to an existing listing.
The MLS rules linked in the upper right corner of Paragon under “MLS Documents” have been updated to reflect this change.
