February’s Board Lunch & Cone Park Update

Make plans to join us Thursday, February 18 at Noon at Bev’s on the River for our next board luncheon.  Come meet your friends and enjoy a great meal!

Our speaker will be Matt Salvatore, Sioux City Parks and Recreation Director.  Matt will share plans for the exciting Cone Park project, which will be the first of its kind in Iowa.   This all-season park will have features such as a sledding hill, ice skating area and a splash pad. It is expected to be a regional attraction for all of Northwest Iowa.

Matt will also spend a few minutes discussing the expansion of trails along the Sioux City riverfront, and explain future plans for the community’s swimming pools.
